Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has sworn-in 13 newly appointed Permanent Secretaries.
He also appointed Mahmud Saeed as sole administrator of Girei Bakari Development Area of the state.
The swearing in followed their success in the promotional examination conducted by the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON).
The Governor was represented by his Deputy, Professor Kelatapwa George Farauta at the ceremony which held at the State Government House on Wednesday.
She urged the Permanent Secretaries to unite, and support Governor Fintiri for the purpose of moving the state forward.
She said: “You are not coming on board to represent a tribe or local government. You are coming to represent Adamawa state as one big family.
"Therefore, we enjoin you to join hands with Governor Ahmadu Fintiri and build Adamawa State."
The newly sworn-in permanent secretaries included Mundi Musa Ibrahim, Adama Maman, Dogara Musa, Fibian Wambai, Abubakar Umar Maiha, Oliver Gani, and Zira Bubanani.
Others included Kwaji Duguri, Ruth Hurum, Makalan Akila, Tanimu Buba, Heidi Edgar Amos and Mohammad Amin Suleiman.
