Three farmers have been killed over a farmland in Kadarko, Keana Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
The victims were hacked to death on Saturday afternoon while working on a disputed farmland by a yet-to-be identified armed men.
A resident who confirmed the incident said it occurred around the Railway axis of the community.
“A group of armed men invaded a disputed farmland where the three persons were working and killed them.
“The armed men killed the farmers and fled before the arrival of security operatives,” the resident who spoke under condition of anonymity, stated.
He revealed that the victims were Eggon farmers of the community who had come under incessant deadly attacks recently over land ownership.
State Police Public Relations Officer(PPRO), DSP Ramhan Nansel, said he’s yet to be briefed officially on the matter.
