Arsenal has recalled the Brazilian talent Marquinhos form his loan spell at Ligue 1 side FC Nantes.
In a statement, Arsenal said the young lad will soon oin up with his under-23 national team for the COMMEBOL Pre-Olympic Tournament held in South America, Venezuela.
“Our forward will be working hard to ensure Brazil are one of the two South American national teams that qualify for the 2024 Olympics Men’s Football Tournament hosted in France this summer,” the club stated.
The attacker has played seven times for Nantes without scoring a goal nor making an assist in the French Ligue 1.
He made his debut appearance in the Premier League in the next match which was a 3-0 win over Brentford City, before he joined Sky Bet Norwich City.
Marquinhos had a one year experience with his native club, after he made his senior debut when he turned 18.
But it remains to be seen what his future at the club would be following his recall to the London side Arsenal.
