As a housemate on the Big Brother Naija reality show, one thing that is unavoidable is dragging from the social media community. All it takes is one careless statement or action and this is exactly what one of the HM, did.
Yousef, while telling Ebuka about himself last night, said most of his female students have a crush on him. He also added that he is grateful that he is not a pedophile.
“Most of my students have a crush on me. Thank God I’m not a pedophile,” he told Ebuka.
While bonding with the male HMs, he also repeated the statement, adding that he always finds a way to turn them down. Yousef further revealed that one of the female students once cried over him.
“She opened up to me that she was crushing on me with tears in her eyes. I had to encourage her that she will find the right one for her when she grows up,” he said.
However, netizens felt his statement was unnecessary and careless on National TV, especially since he teaches junior secondary students who are teenagers.
Yousef Garba is a 29-year old biracial basic technology teacher from Jos. He is on the show to find his soul mate and also make friends. He loves video games and describes himself as a team player.
