The wife of the Benue State Governor has tasked wives of the Local Government Area chairmen to make themselves available and accessible to members of their various community.
Dr Ortom charged them to be loving, accommodating and welcoming towards their constituents.
She stated this on Monday while interacting with the wives of chairmen of the 23 LGA who paid her a familiarisation visit at the Government house in Makurdi.
The first lady advised that this would give them better insights into their issues and enable them to make more meaningful impact on them.
She advised them to position themselves well to play their roles effectively to support their husbands.
Mrs Ortom who appealed to them to pray ceaselessly for their spouses and seek wisdom on how to support them to deliver on the mandate entrusted to them pledged her commitment to work with them to add value to their efforts of improving the livelihoods of people and other complementary roles that they would be performing.
