President Muhammadu Buhari has sent his condolence message to the people of Turkey and Greece, as they battle with the effects of devastating earthquakes.
The message was issued by the president via his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu.
The statement read, “The government and people of Nigeria stand in solidarity with Turkey and Greece in this trying period as they deal with the unmitigated fallouts of a natural disaster."

Turkey and Greece suffered a 7.0 magnitude earthquake, reports the US Geological Survey (USGS), although, the Turkish government says that it is 6.6; with 51 lives lost in the natural disaster.
