Burna Boy has achieved a major milestone on YouTube as he is now the first Nigerian artiste to hit a billion views on the video-sharing platform.
The Grammy award-winning star got the feat after a compilation of the views of all his music videos were made and it amounted to one billion views.
PMNews reports that the announcement was made by YouTube on the Dangote crooner's page which showed 1,006,338,859 views as of the time of this writing.

Burna's popular track On the Low garnered an impressive 225 million views while Ye got 159 million views. Some of his contemporaries like Davido, Wizkid, Tekno, and Olamide were also assessed.
Davido got 963 million views, Wizkid 969 million, Tekno 790 million, and Tiwa Savage nabbed 318 million. Additionally, Olamide came in the sixth position with 311 million while Runtown amassed 306 million views.
