Former Enugu Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship aspirant, Chijioke Edeoga has reportedly picked the Enugu Labour Party gubernatorial ticket.
A local government Chairman of the party in Enugu State confirmed this on Saturday night.
Edeoga, a former Commissioner in Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi's administration resigned his position to contest the governorship election on the platform of the PDP.
Efforts to confirm the development from Edeoga himself failed as his mobile phones were switched off.
However, a source disclosed that Senator Ike Ekweremadu was ahead of others in the quest for the party guber ticket until his recent travails.
