Chris Brown has congratulated his ex-girlfriend Rihanna on the birth of her son with boyfriend A$AP Rocky.
Rihanna and her boyfriend are officially parents as they have welcomed their first child together — a baby boy — in Los Angeles on May 13.
Shortly after the news broke, Chris Brown took to his Instagram Story to congratulate Rihanna.
The post simply says “Congratulations” with prayer hands emoji, a red heart emoji and a Black pregnant woman emoji.
Although Chris Brown didn't tag Rihanna, it is, however, clear who his message is for.
Both singers dated from 2007 to 2009 until things got violent.
During an argument in February of '09, Brown attacked Rihanna, leaving her face bloodied and bruised to the point she had to be hospitalised.

Brown turned himself in to the police shortly after the incident and months later pled guilty to a felony assault charge.
He accepted a plea deal that included community labour, five years probation and domestic violence counselling.
There was also a five-year restraining order put in place.
Since then, Brown has had three children of his own.
He became a father to Royalty in 2014 and to his son Aeko in 2019.
Last month, Brown confirmed that he is the father of a baby girl named Lovely Symphani.
