Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the proscribed Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) on Monday accused the Chinese Communist Party, the ruling political party of the People's Republic of China, of wanting to 'take over Nigeria', Allnews reports.
Some Chinese doctors are currently in Nigeria to support the country in their fight against Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Contrary to speculations, Osagie Ehanire, Nigeria’s Minister of Health, said that the federal government did not invite Chinese doctors to the country, to help fight coronavirus.
Speaking during an appearance on Channels TV recently, Ehanire said although an invitation was not issued, Nigeria can learn from them (the Chinese).
According to Enahire, “I think in the first place we didn’t bring them in, and I think China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) in its wisdom and probably in its corporate social responsibility thought they should bring people in to come and help us and give advice.”
“We didn’t issue an invitation, but we are not unhappy that they are here because we can learn from their experience.
“These people have been through it, and we want to start with a video conferencing with them even while they are isolated so that we can try to learn from their experiences.
“There is nothing better than learning from someone who has actually suffered an event and been inflicted with an injury.”

Reacting to the minister's explanation, self-exiled Kanu claims just like the British Royal Niger Company, who allegedly 'sold' its territory (Nigeria) to the British government for £865,000 in 1899, the entity Nigeria is about to be mortgaged.
