The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has released the report for Sunday 14th September for the COVID-19 situation in Nigeria as Lagos State retains the viral entry and epicentre in Nigeria.
AllNews understands that Lagos retains the highest COVID-19 cases in Nigeria, though lesser than in previous months but often recording the highest cases.
Lagos has over the course of this COVID-19 pandemic remains the state with the highest cases both on the weekly summation and also over the past few months.

According to Sunday night's report, Lagos (30) has the highest cases followed by Kaduna (17) and Ogun (7) which shows a major reduction in the spread of the virus in Nigeria.
Other cases in the country include Anambra (5), Kano (4), Katsina (3), FCT (3), Akwa-Ibom (3), Oyo (2), Rivers (2), Delta (1), Plateau (1) and Ondo (1).
The totality of the statistics from NCDC is estimated at:
