Three suspected kidnappers have been arrested by operatives of Delta State Police Command.
According to PUNCH the suspects were caught by the operatives who responded to a distress call by a victim on the night of January 22, 2022.
The victim who claimed he was kidnapped also said that, in the process of transferring him to another vehicle, he escaped from the kidnappers.
By the next day, the victim spotted one of the kidnappers and alerted the Divisional Police Officer, DPO in charge of Agbarho Division, CSP Samuel Ogwa, who mobilised operatives to the area where one of the suspects was arrested in the process.
After interrogation, the suspect led the operatives to their hideout where the two other suspects were arrested.
The Police PRO for Delta State Command, confirmed the arrest of the suspects and said that investigation is ongoing on the matter and that the suspects will be charged to court upon completion of the investigation.
