DMW's first lady, Liya, has dropped her debut EP titled 'Alari', a Yoruba word for 'Stand Out'.
The 6-track EP contains Alari, Lakriboto, Years Ago, Adua, Olodumare and her debut single 'Melo'.
Liya flexes her core contemporary African voice in Alari and the theme of the songs is deeply rooted in Yoruba culture and heritage.
She was officially unveiled as the first-ever female act of Davido Music World (DMW) in October 2020 and released her debut single 'Melo' on December 8, 2020. Melo became a hit and the song received massive airplay.
