Nigerian singer and Grammy-award winner, Burna Boy, has sounded a note of warning to critics who have been commenting on his new look.
Recall that the 'Twice as Tall' singer recently took to his Instastory to show off his new look after shaving off his beard.
According to him, shaving off his beards makes him look his age.
He wrote, “Had to shave my beard. Lol. Now I look my age.”
His new look sparked reactions and in response, Burna Boy took to his Instagram story to warn that if netizens kept commenting on his shaved beard, he might as well cut off the hair on his head.
He also urged his fans not to love him because of his beard or things he uses money to buy because anybody can grow a beard and anyone can have money to buy stuff.
He further advised people not to build their life on conditional love but on family, talent, and God.
“I love you all too! But don't make me cut the hair on my head as well. If you love me for my hair? Or my beard or some shit I bought with money. Then that's great but anybody can grow hair and buy shit.
“Don't build your life on conditional love. Build on family. Build on those who have shown no sign of potential disloyalty. Build on talent, build on GOD.”
