The Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has hosted the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
The governor hosted them to appreciate their efforts in ensuring his victory in the just-concluded governorship election.
Yahaya met with the party leadership, campaign council, elders and other members of the party on Saturday at the state's Government House.
During the meeting, Yahaya expressed his profound gratitude to them for supporting his re-election bid and the sacrifices they made to ensure his victory.
He said their contributions before, during and after the elections can not go unnoticed.
As contained in a statement by Ismaila Uba Misilli, spokesperson to the governor, on Saturday, Yahaya said: "Our Party logo signifies unity, and by what you have demonstrated in the build up to, during and even after the polls, you have proven us right considering your commitment and doggedness in ensuring a sweeping victory for us and our great party".
The meeting was attended by all the party structure, the APC campaign council in the state and Elder Statesman, Ambassador Ibrahim Yarima Abdullahi amongst others.
