Cruella is an upcoming crime comedy based on the character seen in the 1961 Disney animated feature One Hundred and One Dalmatians.
Set in 1970s London, it sees a young fashion designer Estella de Vil (Emma Stone) go from being obsessed with Dalmatian dog skin to the ruthlessly terrifying legend known as Cruella.
Knowing what the effort that the Mouse House puts into their films, we can only expect that Cruella will at least be a commercial success. Stone's casting should improve its chances considering she is one of Hollywood's most talented young stars.

Directed by Craig Gillespie, Cruella also stars Emma Thompson, Joel Fry, Paul Walter Hauser, Emily Beecham, Mark Strong, and Kirby Howell-Baptiste.
