The governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has revealed that the 24-hour curfew imposed in the state on to prevent the further breakdown of law and order will be eased once the streets are cleared up and all agitations and high nerves have gone down.
According to the governor, the curfew might be eased between Friday and Saturday, depending on the situation of things.

He explained that the easing of the curfew was needed for Lagosians to restock foodstuffs and other commodities.
“Once we see the streets are cleared up and all the agitation and high nerves have gone down, we might slow down the curfew by tomorrow (Friday) or next tomorrow (Saturday) at the latest,” he said on Thursday morning.
It will be recalled that the Governor had on Tuesday imposed a 24 -hour curfew in the state following incessant attack on police stations by hoodlums.
The tension was further heightened after Soldiers opened fire on the #ENDSARS protesters in Lekki that same Tuesday evening.
