Felix Olajide Sowore Finally Laid To Rest

Olajide Sowore, younger brother to Publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Soworoe has been buried.

Olajide was reportedly shot dead at Okada area of Benin-Lagos expressway by gunmen suspected to be herdsmen last Saturday was buried on Thursday (today) in Ondo State.

#RevolutionNow Movement Founder, Omoyele Sowore, was absent from his brother's burial following a court restriction order by President Muhammadu Buhari through Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu since December 2019.

Sowore said: “Nigerian Government and its agencies haven’t done anything to investigate the murder of my brother, Jide Sowore

“Again, I thank you all for reaching out with great love and kind words of consolation, support and solidarity over the tragic, but still unexplained death of my dearest brother, Felix Olajide Sowore.

“I send you loads of gratitude from the bottom of my heart and that of my entire family.

“We should report to the public that despite the noise from Nigerian government officials promising to ‘apprehend’ my brother’s killers, we are not aware any security agency/ies carrying out rescue operations to free those purportedly abducted or investigating the identity of Jide’s murderers.

“It is not as though we expect anything from the failed Nigerian system that took our brother’s life, I feel that I owe you all an update on these matters.

“I won’t be able to attend because the despicable Muhammadu Buhari regime has since December 2019 restricted by a court order issued by Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu to Abuja.”

 Pathologists Finally Conduct Autopsy On Olajide Sowore’s Corpse

Meanwhile, a  team of pathologists are currently conducting an autopsy on the corpse of Olajide Sowore, the younger brother of human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore.

Sowore in a Facebook post said, “Finally, a team of Pathologists are conducting an autopsy on the corpse of my brother, Olajide Sowore, who was casually murdered on Saturday. The internment of his remains will follow at Kiribo soon as the autopsy is completed. Thank you ALL!,” Sowore said in an update on Thursday.
