On Tuesday night, fire razed a part of the building housing the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) at the Asokoro District, Abuja.
The incident was confirmed by a top official of the commission.

Reports say that the fire gutted offices of the Department of Finance and Account.
The fire was put out by first responders, although, the cause of the fire was not ascertained at the time of filing this report.
