A lawyer to the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Ifeanyi Ejiofor has claimed that the criminal elements among Fulani herdsmen "are acting a carefully drafted script".

Ejiofor who is also the lawyer to Nnamdi Kanu, the diaspora-based controversial leader of the proscribed IPOB allege that killer herdsmen are above the law.

Also, the legal practitioner fumed at Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, a popular cleric, for his comparison of Biafra agitators with Boko Haram terrorists group.

He insist that IPOB should not be linked to terrorism.

"Muderous Fulani herdsmen, also operating under the style of "Bandits" are acting a carefully drafted script," Ejiofor posited on his known Twitter handle on Tuesday.

"Their Patrons and Grand- patron are on hands to offer every protections needed to cover their bloody activities.

"In this contraption, they live above all laws.

"They are untouchable!

"Recent outburst by Sheikh Gunmi is a clear message from the drafters of this script.

"For the record, IPOB is an organisation/movement geared towards the peaceful pursuit of the group ideology/solidarity rights of the people of the defunct Republic of Biafra to self determination.

"Rights to self determination is not only an inalienable Right but sacrosanct.

"IPOB is not a terrorist group.

"Sheikh Gunmi's vain comparison is only intended to divert attention."
