Popular gospel artiste Sammie Okposo has reportedly died at the age of 51.
The Nigerian singer who made headlines earlier this year when he took to social media to apologise to his wife for cheating on her is said to have slumped on Friday morning.
Okposo's demise was revealed by his project manager, Hillary Vincent, who confirmed the news to a Punch correspondent.

"Yes, it's true. It happened this morning", the outlet reports he stated in a phone conversation.
Vincent did not disclose the cause of death.
Sammie Okposo established Zamar Entertainment and was known for his collaborations with many gospel artistes.
His most recent music album is 'The Statement' and it was produced by Grammy Award winner, Kevin Bond.
After admitting that he cheated on his wife, the gospel artiste apologised to her and informed his fans that he would focus on restoration and seek forgiveness.
