Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni has approved the appointment of an eighteen-member management team of the Yobe State Hisbah Commission and four members each for the commission's Local Government Area management committee.
The governor's approval was contained in a statement by Shuaibu Abdullahi, the Press Secretary to the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) and made available on Wednesday by Yusuf Ali, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Buni on Media amd Communications.
According to the statement, all the appointments are with immediate effect.
The governor approved (Dr) Yahuza H. Abubakar of the Yobe State University (YSU) to serve as Chairman, Sheikh Muhammad Mahadi as Permanent Member Zone A, (Dr) Alkassim A. Damagum as Permanent Member Zone B and Mallam Lawan Abba Shettima as Permanent Member Zone C.
Others included Goni Bukar Mai Gidan Rami as Part Time Member Zone A, (Dr) Adamu U. Nangere as Part Time Member Zone B, and Zubairu Muhammad Idris as Part Time Member Zone C.
The approval also included Idris Ibrahim Abubakar as Director Admin and General Services, Mallam Bashir Kukuri as Director Aternative Dispute Resolutions (Zauren Sulhu), and(Dr) Yawudi Kaleh -State Commander.
Other management team as contained in the statement are: "Dr. Suleiman Kawuwan - Director Hisbah Operation; Modu Alhaji Gaji - Ag. DFS; Imam Yunus Ahmed (MORA) - Deputy Commander Zone A; Muhammad Musa Potiskum - Deputy Commander Zone B; Sheikh Isa Chaga Deputy Commander Zone C; Malama Aliya Abubakar - Deputy Women Wing Zone A; Malama Hauwa ldriss Muh'd - Deputy Women Wing Zone B; and Hajiya Dabuwa Bamai Bonegarel - Deputy Women Wing Zone C."
