The Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, chaired the State Executive Council (SEC) meeting on Wednesday ahead of his second term swearing-in.
The governor appreciated the members of his cabinet for their contributions to the success of his first tenure.
He noted that the hard work, dedication and commitment of the members led to the success recorded.
He added that he was appreciative of their support towards the actualisation of the Bauchi Renewal Project.
Governor Bala further congratulated the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in the state for the victory recorded during the 2023 general elections.
He noted that the shortcomings recorded during the elections would be looked into while ensuring that everyone was carried along.
This was disclosed in a statement by Lawal Muazu Bauchi, New Media aide to the governor, on Wednesday.
According to Bauchi, the governor said the contributions given by each member of the cabinet would not go unnoticed.
He further assured them that he would do more to ensure that the state records massive development.
Governor Bala also called on the people of the state to continue to support his administration's policies and programs aimed at improving livelihoods.
He noted that the success recorded in his first tenure was all thanks to the people of the state, assuring that he would do more with their prayers and support.
