Condemnation have trailed the tragic deaths of farmers by suspected criminals in Ile-Ife, Osun State.

A non-aligned group Ifeland Peace Development Movement made this condemnation in a statement on Wednesday.

It was gathered that the criminals had posed as advocates for the community in the Ifeland villages and Wanisani villages of Ile-Ife, Osun State.

According to the statement, the group urged the law enforcement agencies to locate the offenders and prosecute them in order to address the issue of recurrent criminality in the community.

It noted that the Ife Development Board and Modakeke Progressive Union should persist in denouncing criminal activities and promote harmony.
