British racing driver who races in Formula 1 (F1), Lewis Hamilton has expressed his gratitude to his father, Anthony Hamilton following his record-equalling seventh world title win on Sunday.
AllNews reports that Hamilton a brilliant drive during a rain-soaked Turkish Grand Prix ensured Hamilton not only won the race - for a record-extending 94th Grand Prix victory - but also equaled Michael Schumacher's tally of seven world titles, the one remaining record of the German great that the Englishman has not yet surpassed.
In a Twitter post on Monday after his historic feat, Hamilton paid homage to his dad.

Hamilton struggled in his formative years with his father.
In a recent social media post, Hamilton recalled the struggles with his father.
He made a flashback to all they have been through.
"This moment in time I will never forget. We started with nothing, he had 4 jobs to keep me racing at one time and I slept on the couch. We dreamt of doing something, something so far out of reach, becoming an F1 driver,” wrote the 35-year-old on November 8.
