Insecurity: Gov Mohammed to deploy technology to fight crimes in Bauchi

Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed has vowed that his administration will use technology to combat crime in the state.

Speaking at the Nigerian Police Force's end-of-year party, organised by the Bauchi State Command, the Governor emphasised the importance of technology in efficiently dealing with criminals.

In a statement published through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Gidado, the Governor praised the police and other security agencies for their tireless efforts to solve security issues across the state.

Governor Mohammed promised them a favourable atmosphere in which they could carry out their tasks with diligence. 

He also emphasised the importance of teamwork and synergy among all stakeholders in achieving the desired outcomes.

The Governor reaffirmed that his government will continue to work to maintain peace and order in the state to attract investment opportunities that will help economic growth.

Mohammed thanked the police for presenting him with an excellence award, recognising his administration's continuous dedication to promoting peace and security.

He stated that the award would push him to improve the effectiveness of security services.

Auwal Musa Mohammed, Bauchi State Commissioner of Police, noted that the Governor received the award as a symbol of appreciation for his administration's tremendous effort in ensuring the state's peace and security.

Similarly, Hajiya Aisha Bala Mohammed, the state's first lady, earned an award of distinction for her efforts to combat gender-based violence.
