The Ogun State House of Assembly has urged the state governor, Dapo Abiodun to provide appropriate security equipment to track criminals and strengthen the state’s security network.

The call is coming following the murder of Temitope Elemide in Odeda local government area of Ogun State.

The lifeless body of the 20-year-old niece of the Speaker last Sunday was seen at her family residence in Bosero community, Olodo, with a knife on her head and body.

She was said to be preparing for the next Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, before the incident.

Adegoke Adeyanju during the plenary presided over by Speaker Oludaisi Elemide at the Assembly Complex, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta explained that there was a need to bring together stakeholders in security management including the Security Trust Fund and the private sector in procuring ‘Autel Drone Robotics Evo Max 4T’ to combat insecurities in the state.
