Instagram new Recap template for 2022 will automatically create a Reel from the minimum of three photographs or videos picked with narration provided by celebrities like Bad Bunny (one of the biggest stars on the planet), Priah Ferguson, and DJ Khaled.
Instagram has been giving Reels more attention this year, and that emphasis extends to how users will build their 2022 Recap.
Instagram's recap function last year was known as Playback. It chose up to 10 of a user's Stories from the previous year, and users could switch out and add new Stories as they saw fit.
Users could share memories from the previous year without needing turning to third-party apps thanks to the capability.
Over the past year, Meta has seen significant growth in the Reels.
Meta says Reels is currently played more than 140 billion times daily across Facebook and Instagram.
In recent months, Meta has improved both of its TikTok rival applications by adding features including tools that make it simpler to construct Reels, an in-app Reels scheduler, and ways to post to Reels from other apps.
