The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Mop-Up Examination conducted last week.
This was contained in a statement by the image maker of the board, Dr Fabian Benjamin on Wednesday.
Benjamin said the candidates can check their results by sending RESULT to 55019 in a text message.
“To check the results of the UTME Mop-Up Examination result conducted on Saturday, 6th August, 2022, all a candidate needs to do is to simply send RESULT to 55019 using the same phone number that he/she had used for registration and the result would be returned as a text message," the statement read.
He further disclosed that the candidates can make use of the board's website, www.jamb.gov.ng to print their results.
While noting the board's effort in simplifying the process of retrieving results, he said, “The Board, in line with its desire to adhere to the ease of doing business protocol of the government, has emplaced this user-friendly and simplified process of checking UTME results."
He added that the move would also prevent candidates from falling into traps of cyber cafes that take advantage of the situation to exploit the candidates.
