Two priests and their visitors were kidnapped by gunmen who stormed the St.Patrick's Catholic Church at Gidan Mai Kanbu in the Kafur Local Government Area of Katsina State on Wednesday.
According to reports, the incident occurred at about 1 am and the gunmen who came in large numbers did not use motorcycles as is the usual affair.
The people kidnapped are the Mai Kanbu Parish Priest, Father Stephen Ojapah and another priest identified as Father Oliver.
The Kaduna Police Command Spokesman, SP Gambo stated that he had not received any report on the incident but promised to revert to newsmen after verifying the incident.
