The National Leader and 2023 presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has hosted Lady Barbra Kuku on a courtesy visit.
Kuku is the daughter of the foremost Woman Politician in Bayelsa State, Reimi Kuku.
She visited the NNPP national leader at his Maitama residence in Abuja, on Monday.
During the visit, she announced her decision to join the party ahead of the governorship election in her state.
This was contained in a statement on Tuesday by Saifullahi Hassan, the media aide to the national leader, Kwankwaso.
According to Hassan, Kuku pledged to work for the success of the NNPP in the forthcoming governorship election in Bayelsa.
She was accompanied by the Bayelsa state's chairman of the NNPP, Dr Joel Tubonimi alongside her daughter.
In his response, Kwankwaso welcomed her to the party while urging her to work with the party in ensuring its victory in the state.
