The Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) Abubakar Malami, SAN, has commended Barrister Labaran Shuaibu Magaji for his diligence and resolute commitment in the discharge of his duties as a State Counsel.
In a letter dated December 3, 2021, Malami appraised Magaji for the successful and superlative prosecution of a major case of kidnapping for ransom in Nigeria.
The success in the case involving late Alhaji Abu Dankure where a ransom of $300,000 (USD) was demanded and the resultant conviction of Mustapha Isa (aka Ali Habibu) and three (3) others.
According to the letter, the conviction of the masterminds has attracted recognition in the country's effort to curb the menace of kidnapping.
"It is, therefore, my expectation that these unassailable credentials of yours, already in the public domain, will spur you to strive even harder for more successes in the foreseeable future," the Attorney General said.
