Mustapha thanks electorates after Yobe east by-election victory

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in the just-concluded Yobe East by-election, Musa Mustapha has appreciated the people of the senatorial district over his election victory.

The senator-elect in a message he signed said he will hold the gesture of the electorates so dear to his heart for the rest of his life.

He equally pledged to serve his constituents with diligence and dedication while guided by the principles of accountability and inclusivity.

He vowed to work towards addressing the challenges of the senatorial district, promote social justice, and ensure the voices of his constituents were heard and valued.

Mustapha further appreciated APC stakeholders including the Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni for their support and mentorship that translated to the election victory. 

The statement which was made available by Yusuf Ali, the Senior Special Assistant on Communications and Strategy to Governor Buni on Monday morning partly reads: "I am deeply humbled and immensely grateful for the honour and privilege bestowed upon me by entrusting me with the mandate to represent you in the 10th National Assembly. 

"Your unwavering support and confidence in me serve as a testament to our shared vision for progress, prosperity, and inclusive representation.

"I extend my heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Ibrahim Geidam, Minister of Police Affairs, for his steadfast guidance, mentorship, and unwavering support throughout this journey.

"His wisdom and dedication to service have been a source of inspiration, shaping my commitment to advocate for the interests of our constituents and uphold the values of integrity and excellence.

"I am equally indebted to our esteemed Party Leader and the Executive Governor of Yobe State, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, for graciously accepting my nomination and extending his unwavering support at every juncture. 

"His visionary leadership and tireless efforts to advance the welfare of our people set a standard of excellence that I am committed to upholding as we work together to realize our collective aspirations.

"As I assume this noble responsibility, I pledge to serve with diligence, integrity, and utmost dedication, guided by the principles of accountability and inclusivity.
