Roadside traders in Lafia, the Nasarawa State’s capital have been given a grace of 4-days to relocate to the neighbourhood or main markets

The General Manager of the Nasarawa State Youth Empowerment Agency(NAYEA), Abdullahi Bala, made the announcement on Thursday during an awareness campaign in Lafia.

Bala said, this was in compliance with a directive from the State Government prohibiting roadside trading in the State capital.

The NAYEA boss said the agency would begin proper enforcement from Monday March 25, 2024

He warned that the traders have from now until Sunday March 24 to vacate the roadside or face the full wrath of the law.
