The sentencing was carried out on March 2, 2021, by a court in the southern Tay Ninh Province. Nzube revealed that he got acquainted with another Nigerian in China in 2014 and was hired by that one to transport drugs from Cambodia to Vietnam.
Nzube was paid $2,000 for the job. He came to Ho Minh City before transporting himself to Cambodia to fetch the drugs.
