Ten minutes of Tears gameplay will be shown on Tuesday during a live debut on Nintendo's YouTube channel with series producer Eiji Aonuma.
It's unclear exactly what gamers will see, but it's safe to assume the demo of 'The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom' will include new mechanics and avoid big plot spoilers.
The new game retains the open-world gameplay that made Breath of the Wild popular when the Switch first arrived, but it now has a new setting (the floating islands above Hyrule) and a tonne of fresh ways to explore the environment.
On a massive hoverboard, gamers can soar, travel through the air in a powered chariot, and even grind rails.
Nintendo hasn't released all the details of Tears of the Kingdom, but we can anticipate a lot more gameplay changes.

Pre-orders for the sequel are currently being accepted for its May 12 release. There's a lot riding on Tears.
The Switch's standout launch title, its predecessor, is thought to have contributed to Nintendo's console becoming one of the best-selling ones of all time.
Six years later, this new game is being released with high hopes and a considerably larger potential fan following.
