Applications for the DigitalforAll Challenge 2.0 are now being accepted, according to a statement from Tech4Dev and the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA).

The competition's goals are to increase digital literacy in Nigeria and encourage people to use online platforms to acquire digital skills and certifications.

The Challenge, which is in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda, aims to develop a critical mass of digital skills that will propel innovation, digitalisation, and diversification in the nation.

Cash prizes are awarded to the winners and runners-up in each of the three categories: Young Learners (Ages 12-18), Youth Category (Ages 19-45), and Civil Servants.

Each category's winner will get N10 million in cash, while the first and second runners-up will receive consolation prizes of N7.5 million and N5 million, respectively.

There is also an intermediate sub-category in the youth category where players can win even greater benefits.

N15 million will be given to the Intermediate Youth Category winner and N12.5 million to the first runner-up. A monetary consolation award of N10 million is awaiting the second runner-up in this category.

To be eligible for the Young Learners Category, candidates must be enrolled in primary or secondary education, be between the ages of 8 and 18, have completed training, and successfully pass a test measuring basic computer literacy.

Interested parties may apply online at https://digitalforall.tech4dev.com/participate; to apply, you must register as a teacher or school on the platform.

Applicants between the ages of 19 and 45 must finish training and obtain certification from the challenge's digital skilling programmes to be eligible for the Youth Category. To take part, civil personnel must also finish the fundamental digital skilling program's training and certification requirements.
