Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing recently found herself embroiled in a public dispute with the content creator known as VeryDarkMan, stemming from allegations surrounding the promotion of a skincare brand without a NAFDAC (National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control) registration number.
The controversy started when an Instagram user raised concerns about a skincare product that Nkechi Blessing had endorsed on her social media platform.
This user mentioned VeryDarkMan, who had previously gained recognition for exposing a skincare brand, Jenny’s Glow, lacking the required NAFDAC registration.
VeryDarkMan decided to investigate the skincare product in question. According to him, his findings purportedly revealed that the brand did not possess a NAFDAC registration number.
Nkechi Blessing took to Instagram Live to address the issue to refute the allegations against her.
During this live session, she defended her promotion of the skincare brand, displaying what she claimed to be the NAFDAC number on one of the brand’s products.
“If you try that rubbish you tried with Jenny’s Glow that is making her run helter-skelter. Are you stupid? Very Dark Man Are you mad?
“See the rat house he is living in, do I look like Jenny’s Glow that you’ve been oppressing?” she said in the live video.
