Sunshine Stars boss Edith Agoye concedes that his side needs the right mentality to get results after ending a run of four games without a win.
The Owena Boys recorded their first win since the start of the second stanza, edging past Lobi Stars 1-0 at the Akure Sports Complex on Sunday.
David Onovo netted the winner in the 23rd minute to boost his side's morale towards finishing the season on a high.
"With the right mentality Sunshine Stars can continue to record victories in the remaining matches,” Agoye told DAILY POST.
“With this win, we are back on track to achieving our dreams this season.”
Sunshine Stars are currently sitting in fourth place in Group B with 21 points, two points behind third-placed Niger Tornadoes.
They have three league matches remaining before the end of the season and are hoping to win all to book a slot in the Super Six tournament.
