A man, Ridwan Kasali has been taken into custody by the personnel of the Osun Amotekun Corps on suspicions of kidnapping.
The Osun Amotekun Corps personnel stated that Kasali was picked up around Zone 6, Capital Area of the Osun State capital, Osogbo residents.
It was disclosed that he had been wandering suspiciously about the area and when residents accosted him, he could not explain to them his reason for being in the vicinity.
The Field Commander of the Corps, Amitolu Shittu who confirmed the arrest stated that Kasali has confessed under interrogation to have abducted five children from Osogbo to Ibadan.
Shittu also added that the suspect had broken under interrogation and revealed that the children that he kidnapped had all been killed.
The Field Commander said the suspect has been handed over to the Department of State Security (DSS) which has since commenced investigation into the matter.
