The Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, has declared that he is a member of 'The Osun Progressives' (TOP), a caucus of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun state.
This is as he also acknowledged and aligned himself with the faction of the APC in the state led by Rasaq Salinsile.
The immediate past governor of the state made the declaration on Friday at the commissioning of the Digital Nigeria Centre (DNC) in Ijesa Muslim Grammar School, Ilesa, Osun state.
Aregbesola maintained that his reason for declaring for the group is because it was established to right the wrongs with the state chapter of the APC.
This is contrary to insinuations and believes from some government officials that Aregbesola was not involved in the activities of TOP in the state
