It has been adduced that the task of providing quality education for school children should not be left to government alone but be a collective responsibility of all stakeholders.
The Osun State Universal Basic Education Board Executive Secretary, Yahaya Bakare made this assertion while receiving a team of Non-Governmental organisation called Community Advancement Initiative For Self Reliance (CAI4SR) in Osogbo.
Bakare also eulogised the NGO for its inclusive education programme in government public schools.
He said the NGO's collaborative efforts in giving support to Osun State Government in its endeavour at providing quality education to the public school learners will go a long way in moving the state education sector forward.
The Osun SUBEB Scribe then enjoined the organisation to meticulously carry out its inclusive education program for the people with special needs in the mainstream schools so that the aim and objectives for which the program is designed will not be jeopardised.
He then called on the people in the society to emulate the good educational program of the Organization, charging all and sundry to contribute their quota towards children education in order to secure a better future for them.
