Tafa Balogun, a former Inspector General of Police who died on Thursday, August 4, 2022, was on Saturday, August 6 buried in his home town, Ila -Orangun.
AllNews Nigeria reported that the former IGP died a few days to his 75th birthday.
The Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba, was represented by Olawale Olokode, the Osun State Police Commissioner.
Balogun was buried according to Islamic rites.
In a condolence message signed by Osun Police spokesperson, Yemisi Opalola, the Osun State Police Command prayed for the repose of the soul of the former police boss.
