Braga, too, found themselves down to 10 men in the 79th minute when Sikou Niakate collided with Porto striker Mehdi Taremi, leaving the referee no choice but to send him off.
With the numerical value even, Porto capitalized on their opportunity to further solidify their lead. Otavio's well-timed slide resulted in the ball finding the back of the net, securing a 2-0 victory for Porto.
