Twenty-four permanent secretaries will be posted and reassigned to different Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) within the federal government, as approved by President Bola Tinubu.

Some of the current permanent secretaries are impacted by the postings and redeployments, while five permanent secretaries who were appointed in November of last year will receive new responsibilities as a result of the President's approval.

The President's action is reportedly a component in the process of resuming government operations.

Dr Magdalene Ajani was transferred to the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) from the Transportation Ministry.
