Techno Oil Limited has received ISO 9001: 2015 Certification from the Standards Organization of Nigeria (SON) for adhering to industry best practices and global standards.
SON awards firms with ISO 9001:2015 Certification as a quality management systems award for complete compliance with quality standards and best management practices.
On August 16, the company will receive the certificate that was previously presented to it at its head office in Lagos.
In a statement released on Monday, Nkechi Obi, the Group Managing Director of Techno Oil, discussed the accreditation and referred to the honour as another victory for the business.
“With this award, Techno Oil will continue to ensure and sustain compliance with both local and international standards at every level of our operations.
“We are excited with the award as a recognition of our commitment to best practices and we are ever grateful to SON for being our partner in progress,’’ she said.
Obi stated that the accreditation, together with the company's prior receipt of ISO 9001: 2008, represents another achievement to be noted.
“This shows our unalloyed commitment to best practices as a company,’’ she said.
An integrated and entirely indigenous company, Techno Oil Group has a variety of investments in LPG distribution and storage along the coast.
The corporation is also a significant player in real estate, the construction of petroleum terminals, the manufacture of cylinders, and the production and blending of lubricants.
