Grammy winner and Nigerian singer, Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, is set to make history at the 2024 Billboard Women In Music Event.
This is as the 'Essence' crooner will be honoured with the Breakthrough award at the 2023 event, making her the first-ever Nigerian recipient of the award.
Billboard made the announcement of the honorees for the 2024 Women In Music Awards on Wednesday.
According to the list, other recipients include Kylie Minogue (Icon Award Honoree), Ice Spice (Hitmaker Award Honoree), Victoria Monét (Rising Star Award Honoree), and Young Miko (Impact Award Honoree).
Billboard further noted that presenters, performers, and additional honorees will be announced in the subsequent weeks.
The 2024 Billboard Women In Music Event will take place at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California, on March 6, 2024.
