Actress Tonto Dikeh has expressed regret after a mother whom she refused to financially assist lost her child.
The actress revealed that she gave nearly 500,000 naira to a random fan who reached out to her with a heartbreaking story.
However, after assisting, she realised it was most likely a scammer because the account was deleted immediately after she sent the money.
Following that encounter, she stated that she received a similar message from a mother requesting assistance for her sick son, but she declined due to her previous experience.
She later learned that the woman's son had died, and she now regrets not assisting her.
Tonto Dikeh went on to complain that people with bad intentions are jeopardizing the chances of those with good intentions.
She added that she would hate herself for a long time for failing to help the mother and her son before it was too late.
