Eleven years after breaking into the mainstream, Nigerian rapper, Olamide, has no desire to fade away from the music scene. He has proved his versatility and impressive consistency with the unveiling of yet another album 'UY Scuti' eight months after the release of 'Carpe Diem'

UY Scuti is his twelfth project, with nine of them being studio albums, two collaborative albums, and one EP.

With the groovy and smooth sound of 'UY Scuti', it can be deduced that Badoo did channel his whole energy into making the project a whole new thing entirely.

Since the release, his colleagues in the music industry including Timi Dakolo, Don Jazzy, Ycee, Peruzzi, D'banj, Uche Jombo amongst others took to their various social media to congratulate him.

Olamide rose to prominence when he released his song, ‘Eni Duro’ in 2010, under the Coded Tunes Records. Eni Duro, which became a sensation in the streets, brought him several opportunities in the music industry.

Baddo then worked with Coded Tunes manager, Tony Payne, to drop his debut album “Rapsodi”. His debut studio album 'Rapsodi' was released in 2011 while signed to the Coded Tunes label. His sophomore album 'YBNL' which was released in 2012 was released under his own label 'YBNL Nation'.
