Meta has finally confirmed that WhatsApp conversations history, pictures, videos, and voice conversations can be transferred from Android to iPhone and end-to-end encryption would still be preserved.
The system can be started during the setup of a new (or factory reset) iPhone and leverages Apple's Move to iOS software for Android phones.

In order for the transfer to be effective, it should be mentioned that the Android phone and the iPhone need to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Users are expected to use the Android OS Lollipop, SDK 21 or higher, or an Android 5.0 or higher and an iOS 15.5 or higher handset with WhatsApp Android version 2.22.7.74 or higher for the migration to be effective.
From the Google Play Store, download the Move to iOS app to your Android device.
Start the setup process for your new (or factory reset) iPhone.
When the Apps & Data configuration screen appears, choose Move Data from Android.
On your Android phone, launch the Move to iOS app, then follow the on-screen instructions.
On your iPhone, tap Continue when you see the Move from the Android screen. the appearance of a ten- or six-digit code, and then wait.
Enter the code, select WhatsApp from the Transfer Data menu, and then press Start on your Android smartphone.
Keep an eye on how your WhatsApp history and data are moving. After the process is complete, WhatsApp will be logged out on your Android device.
Once your iPhone is set up correctly, download and install the latest version WhatsApp from the App Store and sign in to the service using the same phone number.
